Defining the future of defense technology

Northrop Grumman scientists, engineers and technicians work on a comprehensive array of leading edge projects, pursuing knowledge and understanding in subjects such as human performance in advanced aircraft and weapons systems, scientific and political issues related to nuclear weapons, and the design and application of advance ground and airborne laser systems. We are also working to solve a new generation of problems as we address the government's growing priorities in missile defense, space control missions, and homeland security. Our work includes:

Current programs and customers include:
  • U.S. Air Force - Provide technical support to the Human Engineering Division of the Air Force to analyze human performance in advanced aircraft and weapon systems
  • Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) - Support the DTRA in analysis of scientific and political issues related to weapons
  • U.S. Air Force - Provide design and application support
