IT for the people's business

Modernizing the Internal Revenue Service's tax systems. Keeping air travel safe and efficient. Researching critical biomedical and behavioral health issues. Speeding up mail deliveries. These are just a few of the many ways that Northrop Grumman supports the missions of the federal government's civilian agencies and departments.

Our trusted solutions include information systems that support enterprise applications and IT/communications infrastructures. We provide security solutions that protect citizens while safeguarding sensitive information and critical infrastructures. Our engineering and science expertise drives pioneering research in everything from health initiatives to environmental programs to space missions. And, we are a leading force in the transition to e-government, supplying the full range of enterprise IT solutions and products required for today's high-tech federal missions.

Northrop Grumman manages many of the contracts that deliver technology to federal agencies. Our long history of success in this arena has made us the largest non-manufacturing provider of IT products and services to government. Adding this to our proven capabilities in systems engineering and integration, mission support, and application development, it's easy to see why so many federal agencies consider us mission critical.

IRS ISC

Northrop Grumman, the lead contractor on the Internal Revenue Service Integration Support Contract (IRS ISC), is supporting the IRS in its $23 billion Tax System Modernization (TSM) program that will improve the IRS’s entire computer, software, and communications infrastructure.

NASA

Northrop Grumman's scientists and engineers have contributed to many of NASA's most important programs - from the Hubble Space Telescope to the International Space Station to developing the technologies needed for tomorrow's "spacecraft on a chip." In addition, we supply the complete range of operations, engineering, and logistics services needed to support NASA's many facilities.

TCS WAN

The Treasury Communications System (TCS) provides the telecommunications infrastructure for collaboration, communication and computing as required by the U.S. Department of Treasury. In addition to enhancing communications, it enables the department to respond to the rapid growth and international expansion of the global economy by encouraging the use of electronic money, electronic funds transfer and electronic commerce itself.
