Advisory Services (TASC) is a renowned provider of advanced systems engineering, technical assistance (SETA) and other analysis and advisory services. For more than 40 years, we have partnered with America’s national security agencies to protect our freedom. We’re proud to say that our broad portfolio of proven services and solutions helps solve real-world security challenges and threats. Our mission focused end-to-end systems engineering and analytic expertise enhances operationally deployed systems, guides the acquisition of complex systems under development, and architects systems and technologies of the future.

Our Capabilities
We’re thought leaders. Experts in policy development and analysis, concept of operations development and evaluation, enterprise architecture development, analysis of alternatives, portfolio management, trade studies, test and evaluation/independent validation and verification services, life cycle cost analysis, financial management, risk assessments, and specialty training services, we are focused in four business areas:

  • Enterprise Systems—offering systems engineering, technology and architecture assessment, test and evaluation, and advisory services to federal agency, selected military/intelligence, plus state and local markets.
  • National Systems—providing mission analysis, systems architecture, systems engineering and integration, technology assessment, program protection, security and programmatic support focused on complex national intelligence systems acquisition and operations.
  • Mission Engineering—leading the way with systems engineering and integration, policy studies and analysis, mission engineering and assurance, cyber security engineering, intelligence analysis, acquisition management and financial management services.
  • Intelligence Operations—delivering specialty engineering, technical analysis and life cycle programmatic support.

Our Commitment to Quality
We’re continually improving. We strive for the highest quality in every aspect of our business. TASC uses proven, documented processes to help control costs, predict schedules, deliver results, avoid costly rework and develop tailored capabilities. We manage projects quantitatively, maintaining on time delivery and showing continued improvement and momentum throughout a project’s lifecycle. What’s more, we are certified CMMI Level 5 by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) of Carnegie Mellon University Institute. In addition, we constantly reevaluate our thinking and processes to identify and embrace breakthrough practices for improvement as well as emphasize collaboration, communication and working together effectively as key to our success.

Our People
We’re proud to serve our customers, company and community. TASC employs a dedicated team of nearly 5,000 of our industry’s best engineering and analytical minds. Approximately 57 percent of our staff are engineers, scientists, or analysts. Almost 31 percent hold advance degrees and a large majority have clearances. To ensure our team remains current, we promote training and development through in-house courses, as well as university-sponsored instruction.
