Eligibility
The Future Technical Leaders Program (FTLP) strives to hire and develop the best of the best. To do this, we rely on the relationships we build, because a resume only says so much. It doesn't speak to personal capabilities or technical depth and potential. It is only by getting to know someone that we can begin to learn if they have the promise to be a technical leader at Northrop Grumman.
By leveraging our relationship with deans, department chairs, key faculty, staff and student organizations at some of the nation's most prestigious universities that are currently creating the next generation of technology, Northrop Grumman is seeking the very best master's degree and PhD students. Each year, the FTLP will hire a select number of exceptional master's and PhD candidates who are excited about applying their leadership capabilities and personal technical expertise to our nation's most complex problems and important missions. They will be recognized for their achievements and will want to be part of an organization that is providing value to our customers through the creation of distinctive, advanced technology.
By targeting the top nationally-ranked universities for computer science and engineering in the country, the Future Technical Leaders Program hopes to identify the best of the best from their technical master's degree and PhD programs. Due to the classified nature of the programs at issue, all FTLP participants must be US citizens and able to obtain a security clearance.
Northrop Grumman is committed to providing development opportunities for the next generation of technical leaders.
