How FTLP Works
The Future Technical Leaders Program (FTLP) is part of Northrop Grumman Information Systems' Engineering Office. Working closely with Human Resources and other representatives across the sector, the Sector Director, Engineering Programs holds responsibility for full lifecycle program direction and development, from university relations to program member graduation.
By partnering with our business units, Information Systems will match each participant's skills and interests with the needs of the organization. Individuals will be provided with a "home" business unit responsible for ensuring they are given the tools and resources necessary to excel.
To maximize each participant's experience and growth in the program, there is the potential opportunity to rotate through a variety of assignments. Coordinating with the Engineering Office and other business units, the "home" division will identify projects that will provide individual career opportunities to make a positive impact to the company. Working on a broad scope of projects will ensure thorough training in a variety of technologies and businesses, and "soft" skill enhancements.
