Northrop Grumman is known for building C2 Programs of Record (POR). Over the last several years we have been evolving these POR to a net-centric open environment in support of the PEO C4I mission to deliver new C2 capabilities to the warfighter quickly, cost effectively, and with minimal risk.
Northrop Grumman’s highly experienced team has demonstrated success in the design, development, production, integration and installation of C4I systems.
Mission
PEO C4I is responsible for the acquisition, integration, delivery, and support of Command and Control (C2) systems. The C2 IDIQ MAC will be used to achieve the following objectives:
- C2 applications are horizontally and vertically interoperable with Joint Forces and other component commanders in a highly flexible Open Architecture (OA)
- Configurability of C2 for Net-Centric Enterprise Services (NCES) or Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES), network/bandwidth availability, and mission applicability
- Maximum use of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) systems, industry open standards, and user friendly software
C2 defined under the C2 IDIQ MAC includes:
- C2 Implementation and Integration (C2I&I) for maritime unique requirements
- Tactical Data Link applications
- Naval Logistics C2 applications
- Defense C2 applications
Contract Scope
Development of Department of Defense (DoD) C2 software as well as modification and enhancement of existing systems.
- C2 Software Integration
- C2 Test and Evaluation
- C2 Software Systems Engineering
- Integrated Logistics Support and Information Assurance in support of C2 applications

Period of Performance: Feb 2010 – Jan 2013
Award Term Option 1, Feb 2013– Jan 2014
Award Term Option 2, Feb 2014 – Jan 2015
